World Facts and Geography

China producers the world's largest amount of rice. Rice production needs an intensive labour. Rice plant is grown in wet lands. It is llanted in february to april and harvested in june july. It contributes to the 34% in total rice output.

Germany and Sweden are historically cited in geography texts as countries that were relatively homogeneous but experienced significant cultural shifts due to large-scale immigration.

Chain pump system consists of two large wheels tied at both ends with a chain where the wheel is rotated using the chain and water is filled in the buckets and poured off into the field. It is mostly practised in  Europe, China etc. 

Many precious gems and pearls are harvested from marine environments. Pearls specifically are produced by mollusks living in ocean waters.

Equatorial regions are the regions located on or near the equator. Equatorial regions have hot and wet climate. The Amazon Basin (South America), the Congo Basin (Africa) and some regions of Asia are located in equatorial regions. These regions do not have winter or dry season. The diurnal range of temperature is usually greater.

The Semang are the Negrito and Austric ethnic groups of the Malay Peninsula. They are found in Perak, Kedah and Pahang regions of Malaysia.
