The Dandi March, or Salt Satyagraha, began on 12 March 1930 from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Dal is a lake in Srinagar (Dal Lake is a misnomer as Dal in Kashmiri means lake), the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The urban lake, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir” or “Srinagar’s Jewel”.The lake is also an important source for commercial operations in fishing and water plant harvesting.

• ONGC which stands for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation is a state-owned company which deals with exploration and production of petroleum products.
  
• Its headquarters are located in Dehradun. This was incorporated in the year 1959. 
  

• MacMahon line is a border between the countries of India and China as a part of a treaty signed in 1914.
  
• The line is named after Sir Henry McMahon, foreign secretary of the British-government in India.
  
• This line is present towards the east of the country.
  

Many villages together made a Pargana, But the numer of villages was not the same in all Pargana. The Pune Pargana was a big Pargana, It consisted of 290 villages. There was 64 villages in the Chakan Pargana. The Shirwal Pargana was small, it had only 40 villages.

Generally, plains with suitable climate support a huge population. Coastal plains with mild temperatures and good opportunities for economic activities also support huge populations.

Chandoli is a dam. Rest all are hill stations.

Jaisalmer is located in a relatively stable geological region compared to the highly active seismic zones of the Himalayas (Kangra, Dehra Dun, North Bihar).

Maharani Laxmibai (Manikarnika) was born in Varanasi.

Geographically, Ladakh is located in the eastern part of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (historically).

The Chitradurga fort also known as Yelu Suthina Kote is fortified by seven circular walls, three of which are on the ground and four on the rocky hills. Chitradurga fort has around19 majestic doors, 38 smaller doors, 35 special entry points and four secret entrances. Inside the fort, there are ponds and temples.
