Buland Darwaza (Gate of Victory), the world's highest gateway built by Emperor Akbar in 1601, is located at Fatehpur Sikri near Agra. It is not in Hyderabad, Bijapur, or Delhi.

Char Minar (Four Minarets), the iconic monument and symbol of Hyderabad, was built in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. It is located in Hyderabad, not Ahmednagar, Fatehpur Sikri, or Ahmedabad.

The Indian Military Academy (IMA), the premier training institution for officers of the Indian Army, is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It was established in 1932. It is not in Patna, Khadakvasla (which has NDA), or Jabalpur (which has Army War College).

Bangalore (Bengaluru) is called the Garden City of India due to its numerous parks, gardens, and tree-lined streets. The city has two famous botanical gardens - Lalbagh and Cubbon Park - which contribute to this green reputation.

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is located in Khadakwasla, near Pune, Maharashtra. It is India's premier joint training academy for the armed forces, where cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force train together before proceeding to their respective service academies.

Dalal Street, located in Mumbai, is famous for housing the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) - Asia's oldest stock exchange established in 1875. It is the financial hub of India and often referred to as the 'Wall Street of India'. The term 'Dalal Street' is synonymous with Indian financial markets.

Alipore Zoological Gardens in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is one of India's oldest and largest zoos, established in 1876. While Delhi and Bombay have zoos, Kolkata's Alipore Zoo is historically recognized as the largest in terms of area and collection. It houses numerous rare species and is a major tourist attraction.

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is located in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala. It is ISRO's primary facility for satellite and rocket development. Sriharikota is the launch pad (SDSC), Kavalur has an observatory, and Bangalore has ISRO headquarters, but VSSC itself is in Trivandrum.

Mercedes-Benz established its manufacturing plant in Pune, Maharashtra (Chakan industrial area), producing luxury sedans and SUVs for the Indian market. Pune emerged as India's major automobile hub hosting multiple luxury car manufacturers.

Kavaratti is the capital of Lakshadweep, a union territory of India. It is located on the island of Kavaratti. Port Blair is capital of Andaman & Nicobar, Silvassa of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Aizawl of Mizoram.

The Pakistan Resolution (Lahore Resolution) was passed on March 23, 1940, at the annual session of the All-India Muslim League in Lahore. This resolution demanded independent states for Muslim-majority provinces in northwestern and eastern India, eventually leading to the creation of Pakistan in 1947. Lahore holds historical significance as the birthplace of the idea of Pakistan.

Kochi (Cochin) Shipyard, located in Kerala, is the largest shipyard in India. It has the largest building infrastructure including dry docks and ship-lift facilities capable of building very large crude carriers and other massive vessels. The other shipyards at Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, and Kolkata are significant but smaller in capacity.

The 9th National e-Governance Conference was held in Kochi, Kerala in February 2006. This conference is a major platform for discussing digital governance initiatives across Indian states.
