SHIFT+DELETE permanently deletes the selected item without placing it in the Recycle Bin. This is a standard Windows shortcut. CTRL+DELETE is not a delete command, and CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE typically clears browser data.

ALT+ENTER is the standard Windows shortcut to view properties for the selected item (file, folder, etc.). CTRL+P is for print, ALT+P is not a standard shortcut, and SHIFT+P has no default function.

ALT+F4 is the universal Windows shortcut to close the active window or quit the active program. This is one of the most well-known keyboard shortcuts. ALT+F1, ESC+DELETE, and CTRL+TAB are not standard close commands.

ALT+TAB is the standard Windows shortcut to switch between open items/programs. This brings up the task switcher showing all open windows. ALT+ESC cycles through windows but doesn't show the switcher interface.

Windows Logo+E is the standard keyboard shortcut in Windows operating systems to open File Explorer (formerly known as My Computer). The 'E' stands for Explorer, making it easy to remember this commonly used shortcut.

In Windows File Explorer (formerly My Computer), pressing the BACKSPACE key navigates to the parent folder of the current location. This provides a quick way to move up one level in the directory hierarchy without using the mouse.

F2 is the universal keyboard shortcut for renaming selected files and folders in Windows Explorer and most applications. CTRL+R is commonly used for refresh or right-align, ALT+R has no standard function, and F1 opens help.

CTRL+A is the universal keyboard shortcut for selecting all text, files, or items in a document, folder, or application across all operating systems. CTRL+F1 often toggles task panes, CTRL+F8 has various functions, and CTRL+U is for underlining.
