The de Havilland Mosquito was the most successful RAF (Royal Air Force) fast bomber of WWII. Known as the 'Wooden Wonder', it was fast, versatile, and could outrun most German fighters while carrying out bombing missions.

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft, introduced by Germany in 1944 during World War II. It revolutionized aerial warfare. The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft, not German. Kampfgeschwader 54 and Jagdgeschwader 7 were German Luftwaffe unit designations, not specific aircraft models.

Schnellboot (meaning 'fast boat' in German) was the German Navy's fast motor torpedo boat during WWII. Allied forces called them E-boats, derived from 'Eilboot' meaning 'hurry boat.' PT boats were American, MAS were Italian, and MTB is the generic British term.

Odysseus (Ulysses) devised the wooden horse strategy during the Trojan War. The Greeks built the horse hiding soldiers inside, then pretended to sail away. The Trojans brought it into their city, leading to their defeat. Achilles was a warrior, Paris the abductor, and Zeus a god.

Paris's judgment of choosing Aphrodite (who promised him Helen) caused the Trojan War. He awarded Aphrodite the golden apple over Athena and Hera, then abducted Helen from Menelaus. Agamemnon led the Greeks, Menelaus was Helen's husband, and Hector was Troy's greatest warrior.

Menelaus was Helen's husband and King of Sparta. Paris abducted Helen, which triggered the Trojan War. Menelaus was Agamemnon's brother and led the Spartans in the war. Paris was Helen's abductor, Agamemnon the Greek commander, and Achilles the greatest Greek warrior.

In the Judgement of Paris myth, three goddesses - Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite - each offered Paris a bribe. Hera promised power and dominion over Asia, Athena offered wisdom and skill in war, while Aphrodite offered the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen. Paris chose Aphrodite's bribe, ultimately leading to the Trojan War.

In Homer's Iliad, Hector killed Patroclus during battle. Patroclus had borrowed Achilles' armor and led the Myrmidons into battle while Achilles refused to fight. His death by Hector's hand enraged Achilles and motivated him to return to battle.

According to Greek myth, Protesilaus was the first Greek to leap ashore at Troy. An oracle had prophesied that the first Greek to step on Trojan soil would be the first to die, which proved true when Hector killed him shortly after landing.

Eris, the goddess of discord and strife, was not invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis because of her troublesome nature. In revenge, she threw the golden apple marked 'for the fairest' among the goddesses, sparking the Judgement of Paris and ultimately the Trojan War.
