LPG gas is basically propane and butane, and it is odorless in its natural state. LPG constitutes both propane and butane in equal percentages.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG (also called Autogas) consists mainly of propane, propylene, butane, and butylene in various mixtures. It is produced as a by-product of natural gas processing and petroleum refining. The components of LPG are gases at normal temperatures and pressures.

As LPG is odourless and the organo-sulphur compound has an unpleasant smell.

The world's first oil well was dug in 1859 AD in Pennsylvania (USA).

A foul smelling chemical (mercaptan) is added to LPG to detect leakage.

4)To establish synergistic institutional linkages at the national & international levels in the areas of petroleum conservation & environment protection.

5)To provide training and technical advisory services, designed to achieve economy & efficiency in use of petroleum products for cleaner environment.

6)To function as a Think Tank to the Govt. of India for proposing policies and strategies on petroleum conservation and environment protection aimed at reducing excessive dependence on oil

Alcohol, CNG [Compressed Natural Gas] and LPG [Liquified Petroleum Gas] burn on ignition. So, these three elements are inflammable substances.

Natural gas is composed mainly composed  of methane, but it also contains small amounts of ethane, propane, butane, and pentane. Methane, a combination of hydrogen and carbon, is formed when plants and animals (organic matter) are present  under the sedimentary layers of the earth.

Dry cleaning is any cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical solvent other than water. Petrol is a dry cleaning agent.
