The Eskimo word 'Igloo' means shelter. An igloo is a type of hut built from snow. It is domed shape and it is made of compact bricks of snow. It is mostly constructed by the Inuit tribes that live in parts of Canada and Greenland. Some igloos are temporary, while others are permanent. Igloos are warm housing in very cold climates.
