Old Trafford is the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club and is located in Manchester, England. It has hosted Test matches since 1884 and is one of the most famous cricket venues in the world. Riverside Ground is in Chester-le-Street, Country Cricket Ground is not a specific venue name, and Rosebowl is in Southampton.

Basin Reserve is the historic cricket ground in Wellington, New Zealand. It's located near the government buildings and has been hosting Test cricket since 1930. Eden Park is in Auckland, McLean Park is in Napier, and AMI Stadium was in Christchurch.

SuperSport Park is located in Centurion, Gauteng province, near Pretoria. It has been hosting international cricket since the 1980s and is known for its excellent facilities and high-scoring pitches. Bellerive Oval is in Hobart, Marrara Stadium is in Darwin, and Cazaly's Stadium is also in Perth but is primarily an AFL venue.

India's first ODI match was played at Ahmedabad in 1981 against England. This was a historic occasion as India joined the limited-overs format with this match at the Sardar Patel Stadium.

The Commonwealth Games 2010 were held in New Delhi, India. This was the first time the Commonwealth Games were hosted in India. The games took place from October 3-14, 2010, with New Delhi as the host city after successfully winning the bid against Hamilton, Ontario.

Dean Jones scored his famous 210 in the tied Test match between Australia and India at Chennai (then Madras) in 1986. This innings is considered one of the greatest performances in Test cricket history, especially given the extreme heat conditions he batted through.

MS Dhoni scored his legendary 183* against Sri Lanka in Jaipur on October 31, 2005. This remains the highest individual score by a wicketkeeper in ODI history and one of the greatest innings in Indian cricket. The match was played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, not the other cities listed.

Rahul Dravid completed his 10,000 Test runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai. This milestone came during a Test match against South Africa in 2005-06. Dravid became only the third Indian at that time (after Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar) to achieve this feat. The Chennai crowd gave him a standing ovation.
