Headingley is the famous cricket ground in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and has been hosting Test matches since 1899. It's known for its exciting atmosphere and is the home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Country Cricket Ground is not a specific venue, Rosebowl is in Southampton, and Riverside Ground is in Chester-le-Street.

Providence Stadium is located in Georgetown, Guyana, and has been hosting international cricket since 2006. It's one of the newer international venues in the Caribbean. Arnos Vale Ground is in St. Vincent, Sabina Park is in Jamaica, and Warner Park is in St. Kitts.

St. George's Park is the historic cricket ground in Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha), having hosted Test matches since 1889. It's known as the 'Cricket Field of Dreams' and is one of South Africa's oldest venues. Kingsmead is in Durban, Buffalo Park is in East London, and SuperSport Park is in Centurion.

The WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association) Ground is located in Perth and was famous for its fast, bouncy pitch that favored fast bowlers. It hosted international cricket from 1970 until 2018. Bellerive Oval is in Hobart, Marrara Stadium is in Darwin, and Cazaly's Stadium is also in Perth but is primarily an AFL venue.

Sabina Park is the historic cricket ground located in Kingston, Jamaica. It has hosted Test matches since 1930 and is one of the premier venues in the West Indies. Providence Stadium is in Guyana, Warner Park in St. Kitts, and Arnos Vale Ground is in St. Vincent.

India's first ODI match was played at Ahmedabad in 1981 against England. This was a historic occasion as India joined the limited-overs format with this match at the Sardar Patel Stadium.

The Commonwealth Games 2010 were held in New Delhi, India. This was the first time the Commonwealth Games were hosted in India. The games took place from October 3-14, 2010, with New Delhi as the host city after successfully winning the bid against Hamilton, Ontario.

Dean Jones scored his famous 210 in the tied Test match between Australia and India at Chennai (then Madras) in 1986. This innings is considered one of the greatest performances in Test cricket history, especially given the extreme heat conditions he batted through.

MS Dhoni scored his legendary 183* against Sri Lanka in Jaipur on October 31, 2005. This remains the highest individual score by a wicketkeeper in ODI history and one of the greatest innings in Indian cricket. The match was played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, not the other cities listed.

Rahul Dravid completed his 10,000 Test runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai. This milestone came during a Test match against South Africa in 2005-06. Dravid became only the third Indian at that time (after Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar) to achieve this feat. The Chennai crowd gave him a standing ovation.
