The 1942 Rose Bowl was moved from Pasadena, CA to Durham, NC due to fears of a Japanese attack on the West Coast following Pearl Harbor. Duke University's stadium hosted the game, where Oregon defeated Duke 46-0. This was the only time the Rose Bowl was played outside of Pasadena until the college football playoff era, and 'brighton' is not a valid location option.

The headquarters of the Commonwealth Games Federation is located in London, England. The Commonwealth Games is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations, and its governing body has been based in London since its establishment. Washington DC, Amsterdam, and Brussels are not related to this organization.

The Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium (formerly known as the Bombay Gymkhana Stadium) is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It's a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for cricket and football, named after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Deputy Prime Minister and home minister who unified the princely states.

Green Park Stadium (officially known as Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium) is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of India's oldest cricket stadiums and has hosted numerous international matches since 1948.

The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup final was played between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India won this historic match by 6 wickets, with captain MS Dhoni hitting the winning six.
