Headingley Stadium is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and serves as the home ground for Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Surrey play at The Oval, Leicestershire at Grace Road, and Derbyshire at the County Ground.

The Chail Cricket Ground in Himachal Pradesh, India, is recognized as the highest cricket ground in the world at an altitude of 2,444 meters (8,018 feet) above sea level. It was built in 1893 and is part of the Chail Military School.

Sunil Gavaskar became the first batsman to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket, achieving this milestone at the Motera Stadium (now Narendra Modi Stadium) in Ahmedabad against Pakistan in 1987. This was a historic moment in cricket history.

Sachin Tendulkar surpassed Sunil Gavaskar's record of 34 Test centuries at Feroz Shah Kotla (now Arun Jaitley Stadium) in Delhi during the 2005 Test match against Pakistan. Eden Gardens (Kolkata), Chepauk (MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai), and Motera Stadium (Ahmedabad) are all iconic cricket grounds but not the venue where this record was achieved.

Sourav Ganguly scored his first and only Test double century (239 runs) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore against Pakistan in 2007. This remains his highest Test score and only double century in Test cricket. Motera (Ahmedabad), MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), and Eden Gardens (Kolkata) are all venues where Ganguly played but did not score a Test double hundred.

Virender Sehwag scored the fastest triple century (309 runs off just 274 balls) in Test match history at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against South Africa in 2008. This record-breaking innings demonstrated aggressive batting at its finest. Motera, Eden Gardens, and Rajiv Gandhi Stadium are major cricket grounds but not the venue for this particular record.

Mohammed Azharuddin had an exceptional Test batting average exceeding 100 runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Azharuddin scored three centuries in his first three Test matches at this venue and maintained an outstanding record there throughout his career. Feroz Shah Kotla, Chinnaswamy Stadium, and Wankhede are grounds where Azharuddin played successfully but did not maintain a 100+ average.

Anil Kumble reached both his 300th and 400th Test wicket milestones at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. These were significant achievements in his distinguished career as India's premier spin bowler.

Virender Sehwag claimed his only five-wicket haul in Test cricket at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. This was a remarkable performance for a batsman known primarily for his aggressive batting.

Lord's Cricket Ground in London hosted the archery events for the 2012 Summer Olympics. This is the historic 'Home of Cricket' that was temporarily used for Olympic archery. The Oval, Emirates Stadium, and Craven Cottage are other London sports venues but were not used for archery.

The Woolloongabba Stadium, commonly known as 'The Gabba', is located in the Woolloongabba suburb of Brisbane, Australia. It is NOT Cazaly's Stadium (Darwin), Marrara Stadium (Darwin), or Telstra Dome (Melbourne). The Gabba is a major cricket stadium in Brisbane.

Old Trafford is the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club and is located in Manchester, England. It has hosted Test matches since 1884 and is one of the most famous cricket venues in the world. Riverside Ground is in Chester-le-Street, Country Cricket Ground is not a specific venue name, and Rosebowl is in Southampton.

Basin Reserve is the historic cricket ground in Wellington, New Zealand. It's located near the government buildings and has been hosting Test cricket since 1930. Eden Park is in Auckland, McLean Park is in Napier, and AMI Stadium was in Christchurch.

SuperSport Park is located in Centurion, Gauteng province, near Pretoria. It has been hosting international cricket since the 1980s and is known for its excellent facilities and high-scoring pitches. Buffalo Park is in East London, Kingsmead is in Durban, and St. George's Park is in Port Elizabeth.

AMI Stadium (formerly Lancaster Park) was the main cricket ground in Christchurch until it was damaged in the 2011 earthquake and subsequently demolished. Eden Park is in Auckland, McLean Park is in Napier, and Basin Reserve is in Wellington.
