The Gateway of India stands in Mumbai, overlooking the Arabian Sea. This iconic arch monument was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary.

Bhubaneswar is the capital city of Odisha (formerly Orissa). Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu, Kolkata is of West Bengal, and Orissa is the state itself, not its capital.

Kolkata is known as the 'City of Joy' based on Dominique Lapierre's novel of the same name that celebrates the city's vibrant culture, resilience, and spirit. The nickname reflects Kolkata's rich literary heritage, artistic traditions, and the warmth of its people despite historical challenges.

Jaipur is called the Pink City because in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh painted the entire city terracotta pink to welcome the Prince of Wales. This color was chosen because pink represents hospitality in Rajasthani culture. The city maintains this distinctive color scheme in its old quarter to this day.

Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India, was assassinated by a suicide bomber (human bomb) on May 21, 1991, at Sriperumbudur near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The assassination occurred during an election campaign. New Delhi was not the location, and Colombo is in Sri Lanka, not India.

Kavaratti is the capital of Lakshadweep, serving as the administrative center of this union territory.

Puducherry is a Union Territory, not a state, and Pondicherry city serves as its capital. Karaikal, Yanam, and Mahe are all districts/enclaves within the Union Territory but none is the capital. Hence 'None of these' is correct.

Aizawl is the capital and largest city of Mizoram, a northeastern state of India. Lunglei, Saiha, and Champhai are all districts or towns in Mizoram but none is the state capital.

Gandhinagar is the planned capital city of Gujarat, established in 1960 after Gujarat's formation. Surat, Baroda (Vadodara), and Ahmedabad are major Gujarati cities but not the capital.

Panaji (Panjim) is the capital of Goa, located on the banks of the Mandovi River. Porvorim hosts the legislative assembly, Margao is a commercial hub, but Panaji remains the official capital.

India House was established in London in 1905 by Shyamji Krishna Varma as a center for Indian nationalist activities and to promote scholarship among Indian students in Britain. It became a hub for revolutionary activities and hosted leaders like Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. It was not located in any Indian city like New Delhi, Mumbai, or Kolkata.

Jaitapur nuclear power project is located in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. It's a proposed nuclear power plant site that has been in planning for several years. Nagpur, Delhi, and Jabalpur are not the correct locations for this project.
