Connaught Place (CP) is widely regarded as the heart of Delhi - it is a central commercial and cultural hub, one of the largest financial and business centers in Delhi. The word comes from the Latin 'providere' meaning 'to foresee.' Wretched means miserable, harsh means severe, and expect means to anticipate, but none capture the preparatory aspect of provident.
