The Velurpalaiyam plates of Nandivarman III are the copper plates found at village of Velurpalaiyam. According to    these plates, Pallavas captured Kasi from cholas.

Dandin and Bharavi were the two court poets of Pallava dynasty. Dandin was a grammarian and wrote romantic prose and Bharavi was a Sanskrit poet known for his great work Kiratarjuniya based on Mahabharata.
