Marc Andreessen led the team at NCSA (University of Illinois) that created Mosaic in 1993, which made the World Wide Web accessible to non-technical users. While Eric Bina was co-creator, Andreessen is most commonly credited as the inventor and later founded Netscape Communications. Tim Berners-Lee invented the Web itself, not Mosaic browser.

Linus Torvalds created the Linux kernel in 1991 as a Finnish university student. Dennis Ritchie and Kenneth Thompson developed Unix at Bell Labs, while Tim Paterson wrote QDOS (a precursor to MS-DOS). Linux remains open-source with Torvalds as its principal architect.

The scaphoid bone is one of the eight carpal bones located in the wrist (proximal row, lateral side). It's commonly fractured in falls onto an outstretched hand. It is not found in the neck, ribs, or spine - those areas contain cervical vertebrae, rib bones, and vertebral bones respectively.

The tongue is the only muscle in the human body attached at only one end (to the hyoid bone). This unique attachment allows for its remarkable flexibility and wide range of motion needed for speech, swallowing, and food manipulation.
