When solar dryer is placed in sunlight then it convert solar energy into heat energy and heat the air inside the solar dryer to a constant temperature.

 Solar dryer is one of the oldest methods of preserving food for later use.  Foods can  be dried in the sun, in an oven or in a food dehydrator by using the right. So we can dried fruits for longer duration of time.

The basic function of a solar dryer is to heat air to a constant temperature with solar energy hence Solar dryer works on the principle of conversion of solar energy into heat energy.

At night there is no sunlight to produce heat energy so we cannot use solar cookers in night.

We use the black coloured box to absorb more heat as black colour is the best absorber for heat among its all colours.

Sun is the ultimate source of energy because all renewable and non renewable sources are ultimately derived form sun.

Thermal power plants required coal and oil, which they burn to generate the required power. Since transmission of electricity is more efficient than transporting coal or oil over the same distance,  So thermal power plants are generally located near coal fields.

Dhuvaran Thermal Power Station is an Oil and Gas power plant located at Khambhat in Anand district, Gujarat. The power plant is under ownership of state owned Gujarat state Electricity limited.This was the first power plant of Gujarat Electricity Board, the parent company of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited.
