Surah Al-Maidah's verse, revealed during the Prophet's Farewell Hajj, marks the completion of Islam as a religious path and signifies Allah's final favor to believers.

In Islamic cosmology, before creating the universe, Allah's throne was said to be over water. This comes from Quranic interpretations and Hadith describing the primordial state before creation. Air, fire, or heaven are not mentioned in this context in traditional Islamic theology.
