Slash (Saul Hudson) was the lead guitarist for Guns N' Roses who left the band in 1996 and formed his own side project called 'Slash's Snakepit,' which released the album 'It's Five O'Clock Somewhere' in 1995. Kirk Hammett is Metallica's guitarist, Joe Satriani is a solo instrumental rock artist, and Jimi Hendrix was the legendary guitarist who died in 1970.

The '27 Club' refers to famous musicians who died at age 27. Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix all died at 27 from drug-related issues in the early 1970s, making them the 'Three J's' of rock tragedy.

Limp Bizkit originated in Jacksonville, Florida. This is where Fred Durst and other original members came together. The band is not from Washington, Austin, or Miami.
