Children of Bodom is a Finnish melodic death metal band named after Lake Bodom in Finland, where three teenagers were murdered in 1960 - a gruesome crime that became part of local folklore. The band formed in 1993. Gothic Children is not a real band, Led Zeppelin was named after an airship (not a lake accident), and option D is a joke option.

"Purple Haze" is one of Jimi Hendrix's most famous songs, released in 1967. It showcased his revolutionary guitar work and became an anthem of the psychedelic rock era. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), and Serj Tankian (System of a Down) are vocalists from different eras and genres who did not record this song.

After System of a Down went on hiatus, Serj Tankian pursued a solo career under his own name, releasing multiple solo albums. While other members formed different bands, Tankian chose to use his personal name for his musical projects.

Iron Maiden is named after a medieval torture device - a coffin-shaped iron cabinet with inward-pointing spikes. The band's founders saw this device in an illustration and chose it as their name, later adopting Eddie as their mascot.

Daron Malakian is the common link between both bands - he is a founding member of System of a Down and later formed Scars on Broadway with SOAD drummer John Dolmayan. Tankian is Serj Tankian (also from SOAD but not the founder of Scars on Broadway).

Pink Floyd's song 'Fearless' from their 1971 album 'Meddle' features a recording of Liverpool fans singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. The band captured the crowd singing at Anfield stadium and incorporated it into the song's outro. This created a famous connection between Pink Floyd and Liverpool FC. 'Arnold Layne', 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', and 'See Emily Play' are other Pink Floyd songs not featuring this recording. The 'You'll Never Walk Alone' anthem has been associated with Liverpool since the 1960s.

Jascha Richter is the singer and keyboardist of Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR). He is the frontman of the Danish soft rock band and has been with the group since its formation in 1988.

Søren Madsen, the keyboardist for Danish soft rock band Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR), left the group in 2000. The other members listed - Kare Wanscher, Ronan Keating, and Jacky Cheung - were not the departing member that year.

Oasis was the British band that disbanded in 2009 due to the famous and ongoing feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. Their creative and personal differences led to multiple breakups and reunions, with the final split occurring after a backstage altercation just before a Paris concert. Radiohead, Incubus, and Blur are unrelated British or American rock bands that did not have this specific brotherly conflict.

Adam Clayton (bassist) and Larry Mullen Jr. (drummer) are founding members of the legendary Irish rock band U2. They formed the band in 1976 when Mullen posted a notice on their school bulletin board looking for musicians. Metallica, Aerosmith, and Black Sabbath are American heavy metal bands with different personnel.

Pink Floyd's 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' is a tribute to their former bandmate Syd Barrett, who founded the band but had to leave due to deteriorating mental health from drug use. The song appears on their 1975 album 'Wish You Were Here' and was written by Roger Waters. The Kohinoor diamond, Marilyn Monroe, and the Sun are unrelated distractors - the title metaphorically refers to Barrett as a 'crazy diamond' - brilliant but troubled.

Ray Manzarek (keyboards), Robby Krieger (guitar), and John Densmore (drums) were members of The Doors, along with the iconic Jim Morrison. They formed in 1965 in Los Angeles and became one of the most influential and controversial rock bands of the 1960s. Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal band, Pink Floyd is a progressive rock band, and UB40 is a British reggae/pop band.

Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica in 1983 due to alcohol abuse and personality conflicts, just before they recorded their debut album. This rejection led him to form Megadeth, which became one of the 'Big Four' thrash metal bands alongside Metallica. Dave Ellefson is Megadeth's bassist, while James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich are Metallica's founding members who stayed with the band.

Iron Maiden features their mascot 'Eddie' (also known as 'Eddie the Head') on almost every album cover and during live performances. Eddie is a zombie-like creature created by artist Derek Riggs and has become one of metal music's most iconic mascots. Metallica, Pantera, and Slayer are major metal bands but do not have a consistent album cover mascot like Eddie.
