Jamshedpur, founded by Jamsetji Tata and home to Tata Steel, is located in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. It was part of Bihar before Jharkhand was carved out in 2000.

The Bill envisages systematising the study of Sanskrit, utilising the link between Sanskrit and Kannada for enrichment of both the languages, and providing a platform for scholars in Sanskrit and other related disciplines to exchange ideas.
