The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel was established in 1968 by the Central Bank of Sweden to celebrate its tercentenary. A.N.R (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) was indeed a recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in cinema, received in 1991. He was one of the foundational figures of Telugu cinema along with N.T.R.
