• Lakshadweep Islands, also known as Laccadives islands, formerly is the smallest Union Territory of Indian government. 
  
• The capital of this Union Territory is Kavaratti. 
  
• The Union territory is majorly ruled by Islamic principles followed up by many other religions as well.
  
•  After India got her independence, in 1956, Lakshadweep was marked as a separate Union territory in India. 
  
• There are around 40 islands which together make the Lakshadweep islands. 
  

• On 1 November 1956, during the reorganization of Indian states, the Lakshadweep islands were separated from Madras organized into a separate union territory for administrative purposes.
  
•  The new territory was called 'Laccadive, Minicoy, and Amindivi Islands before adopting the Lakshadweep name on 1 November 1973.
  
• Kavaratti  is the capital of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep in India. 
  
• Administration Secretariat was shifted from Kozhikode to Kavaratti in March 1964.

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territories, people of the Onge tribe live. The Onge are one of the Andamanese indigenous peoples of the Andaman Islands. Traditionally hunter-gatherers, they are a designated as a Scheduled Tribe of India.

Pushkar Lake is also called as Pushkar Sarovar. It is located in the pushkar town of Ajmer district. Pushkar Lake is a sacred lake of the Hindus. The Hindu scriptures describe it as "Tirtha-Raj" – the king of pilgrimage sites. Temple of Pushkar is located near Puskar Lake. The deity worshiped in this temple is Lord Brahma.

Moinuddin Chishti is an Islamic scholar and philosopher from south Asia. He introduced Chishti Order of Sufism in the Indian subcontinent. Moinuddin Chishti is located in Ajmer of Rajasthan. It is also known as known as Ajmer Sharif Dargah or Ajmer Sharif.

Road ways are mostly developed in Rajasthan because roads are reachable in every part of the state like rural and tribal areas too. Longest highway of the state is NH-8 which connects Rajasthan to Delhi and Mumbai. It is also the busiest National Highway of Rajasthan and passes through middle of Rajasthan.

Road transportation is very well developed in Rajasthan. The longest national highway of Rajasthan that connects the state to the Kandla port of Gujarat is NH-15. Apart from NH-15, the other high way that connects Rajasthan state to the Kandla port of Gujarat is NH-14.

Rajasthan is included under North-western Railway zone which is one among the 17 railway zones of India. Its headquarter is at Jaipur. It comprises of four divisions:  Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions. This zone came into existence on 1 October 2002.

First train in Rajasthan ran in the year 1874. It travelled from Bandikui (Dausa) to Agra Fort (Uttar Pradesh). From then onwards there was continuous development in Railways. Total length of railways in the state of Rajasthan is about 6000 Kms.
