The Uttarakhand State was carved out from erstwhile State of Uttar Pradesh on 09/11/2000. At the time of the creation of the State, the High Court of Uttarakhand was also established on the same day at Nainital. Since that day the High Court is functioning in an old building situated in Mallital Nainital which was known as old Secretariat.

The High Court of West Bengal in Kolkata is the oldest High Court in India. It was established on 1st July 1862 under the High Court's Act, 1861. The court has jurisdiction over West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Trichur cotton textile center isn’t in Tamil Nadu. It is in Kerala in Nattika in Trichur district. Trichur are engaged in the manufacture of hosiery products. Trichur is famous for the powerloom industry and the Textile Mills. 

India is called a subcontinent because it is a large, distinct landmass that is geographically separated from the rest of the Asian continent by mountain ranges and sits on its own tectonic plate.

Rajsthan Canal Project is also known as Indira Gandhi Canal Project. It was renamed Indira Gandhi Canal on November 2, 1984 after the assassination of Indira Gandhi. It starts from Harike Barraj at Sultanpur, a few Kilometers below the coinfluence of river Satluj and Beas in Punjab state. It is the longest man made canal of not only India but also Asia. It cover three Indian states : Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

Dark lava soils are also called as black soils or black cotton soils. These are present in the Bhilwara district and the major parts of Udaipur district, Chittaurgarh district, Sirohi district and the tract of Aravali Hills forms a part of inter-mountain plateau an consists of dark- lava soils. Major cash crops like cotton and sugarcane are grown in this black soil region.

After independence, during the second five-year plan, three new integrated steel plants were set up with foreign collaboration. In 1964 another one integrated steel plant was set up with foreign collaboration: 

• TISCO stands for Tata Iron and Steel Corporation. It is a private sector owned company. It was founded by Jamshedji Tata in the year 1868. It is now owned by TATA sons.
  
• This steel plant is located in Jamshedpur a city of Jharkhand state which is located on the banks of river Subarnarekha and Kharkai. 
  

Bokaro is located in Jharkhand. Bokaro steel plant was set up in 1964 at Bokaro with Russian collaboration.

In these given options Kanpur is different from the other three options because Bhilai, Bokaro, and Durgapur are related to Iron and steel industries.

Bhadravati is located in Shimoga district of Karnataka. It is known for the steel plant located there. It is owned by public sector organised company called SAIL. Name of the company located in Bhadravati is the Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant factory which was started by Sir M. Visvesvarayya.
