Who is the mother of Nakul and Sehdev ?

Madri was the second wife of Pandu and mother of Nakula and Sahadeva in the Mahabharata. She used a mantra given by Sage Durvasa to invoke the Ashwini Kumaras and bore these twin sons. After Pandu's death, Madri performed sati (immolated herself), leaving Kunti to raise all five Pandava brothers. Draupadi was their wife, not mother, and Gandhari was mother to the Kauravas.
