In-transit receipts in Oracle Inventory are received from the Purchasing module when goods are shipped from a supplier but not yet delivered to the final destination. While Order Management and Work in Process handle inventory movements, they are not sources for in-transit receipts. Option C correctly identifies Purchasing as the single source.
In-transit receipts — whether originating from an interorg transfer or a purchase order shipment — are received into an organization through the Purchasing module's Receiving Transactions functionality, which is the single common receiving mechanism Oracle Applications uses for in-transit shipments. Work in Process and Order Management don't provide their own separate receiving transaction paths for in-transit stock.
