When creating WIP jobs manually from a job simulation in Oracle, the system only allows creation of Standard Discrete Jobs. Non-standard jobs and MRP-planned discrete jobs cannot be created through the manual simulation process; they use different creation mechanisms.
WIP jobs created manually from a simulated/planned job in Oracle WIP are limited to Standard Discrete Jobs, because only standard jobs use a fixed, repeatable bill/routing structure that a simulation can be converted into directly. Non-standard jobs are used for one-off, non-repetitive work (rework, prototypes) and aren't generated this way, and MRP planned orders feed the standard planned-job creation flow, not a manual simulation-to-job conversion.
