Percentage Sampling
Fixed Sample is a sampling type used in sampling procedures within SAP QM. It specifies a constant sample size to be drawn for inspection, regardless of batch size. This differs from 100% inspection (checking all units), percentage sampling (proportional to batch size), or sampling schemes (which use AQL tables for variable sampling).
"Fixed sample" is a sampling type where a predetermined, fixed sample quantity is inspected regardless of the lot size, as opposed to percentage sampling (which scales with lot size) or using a full sampling scheme/plan that references sampling tables. 100% inspection means testing every unit, which is a different (non-sampling) inspection type altogether.
