You can delete a requirement from the Requirements module. Deleting a requirement does not delete its child requirements, tests coverage, requirement traceability links, and defects linkage.

When you delete a parent requirement in Quality Center, the child requirements are NOT automatically deleted. They remain in the system as independent requirements. Similarly, test coverage associations, requirement traceability links, and defect linkages are preserved because they represent relationships that would break the traceability chain if removed.
