Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi is widely recognized as the largest Hindu temple complex in the world. It was completed in 2005 and covers approximately 100 acres. The other options are all significant temples - Jagannath Puri is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, Pashupatinath is a major temple in Nepal, and Somnath is a Jyotirlinga in Gujarat - but none match Akshardham's scale.
