The Diwan-i-Qaza was the Ministry of Justice in the Delhi Sultanate. It was responsible for administering justice and enforcing the law. The Diwan-i-Qaza was headed by the Qazi-ul-Quzat, who was the chief judge of the Sultanate. He was assisted by a number of judges, who were known as qazis.
