Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, which is the central event of Christianity. It does not refer to crucifixion, death, or salvation specifically, though these are related concepts in Christian theology.

According to Christian theology, all three reasons are valid: Jesus was crucified to save humanity from sin (atonement), it was prophesied in Old Testament scriptures, and it was part of God's divine plan for salvation.

Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus to the authorities for 30 pieces of silver, as recorded in all four Gospels. Peter denied Jesus but did not betray him, while John and Thomas were loyal disciples.

According to John 20:19-23, the resurrected Jesus appeared to his disciples in the upper room where they were gathered behind locked doors. This was where he showed them his wounds and breathed the Holy Spirit upon them.

Thomas, known as 'Doubting Thomas,' insisted on seeing and touching Jesus' wounds before believing in the resurrection. Jesus later appeared to him and invited him to touch his wounds, leading Thomas to proclaim 'My Lord and my God!'

According to the Gospel accounts, the tomb was found open and empty by the women who came to anoint Jesus' body. The stone had been rolled away, and the tomb remains open as a symbol of resurrection.

Jesus spoke seven different phrases during his crucifixion, known as the 'Seven Last Words' from the Cross, collected from all four Gospel accounts. These include 'Father forgive them' and 'It is finished.'

The first saying, recorded in Luke 23:34, is 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do,' showing Jesus' prayer for his executioners. This体现了 his mercy and forgiveness even in suffering.

The Indian Constitution originally had 8 schedules when it was adopted in 1949. These schedules contained detailed provisions on various matters like territories, emoluments, forms of oaths, anti-defection laws, and more. Over time, more schedules have been added through amendments, but the original framework began with 8 schedules that provided the constitutional structure for the newly independent nation.

Sukumar Sen served as India's first Chief Election Commissioner from 1950 to 1958. He oversaw the first general elections of independent India in 1951-52.
