Karna was Kunti's first child, born before her marriage to Pandu through a divine blessing from Surya (the Sun God). Fearing social stigma, Kunti placed the infant in a basket and set him adrift on a river. Yudhisthir was her first child with Pandu, but Karna was her first born overall.

Dhritarashtra and Gandhari had 100 sons (the Kauravas) and one daughter, Duhshala. She was the only sister of the Kaurava brothers and eventually married Jayadratha, the king of Sindhu kingdom. The options include misspellings (Duryosola, Gandgari) but Duhshala is correct.

In the Ramayana, King Janak of Mithila found Sita as an infant while ploughing a field (she emerged from the earth). He adopted and raised her as his daughter, which is why she is also called Janaki (daughter of Janak) and Maithili (from Mithila). Dasharath was her father-in-law.

In the Mahabharata, Shishupala (also spelled Sisupal) was killed by Lord Krishna during Yudhisthir's Rajasuya sacrifice ceremony. Krishna had promised Shishupala's mother that he would forgive 100 of his offenses, but killed him when the insults exceeded that limit. Arjun and Ram were not involved in this incident.

In the Mahabharata, when Dronacharya demanded Arjuna as Gurudakshina, the Pandavas devised a plan where an elephant named Ashwatthama was killed by Bhima. Yudhishthira then announced 'Ashwatthama is dead' to deceive Drona, who believed his son had been killed. The spelling 'Vheem' is incorrect; the correct spelling is Bhima.

The Ramayana in Sanskrit was composed by the sage Valmiki. The correct spelling is 'Valmiki,' not 'Rishi Balmiki.' Note that options A and B contain spelling errors - 'Kalidash' should be Kalidasa and 'BedBaysh' is likely a corruption of Vidyapati (Bengali poet who translated Ramayana, not the original Sanskrit composer). Kritibash Ojha wrote a Bengali version, not the Sanskrit original.

Ashwatthama (the person, not the elephant) was the son of Dronacharya (also written as Drona), the royal preceptor to both the Pandavas and Kauravas in the Mahabharata. His mother was Kripi. This makes option A (Dronachariya - a variant spelling of Dronacharya) correct.

In the Ramayana, Hanuman carried the Gandhamadana mountain to collect the Sanjeevani herb (Bishalya Karani/Sanjeevani booti) to save Lakshman's life after he was critically injured in battle.
