Pakistan was divided into two measure parts that is eastern and western part.Eastern part contain maximum number of Bengali speaking people who want its separate nation. Tashkent Agreement was signed between India and Pakistan. President Ayub Khan signed the agreement  on January 10, 1966, ending the 17-day war between Pakistan and India in 1965. The agreement was mediated by Soviet premier Aleksey Kosygin, who had invited the parties to Tashkent.
