DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) is an international telecommunications standard that allows high-speed data transfer over cable TV systems. It enables cable internet services and is used by cable ISPs worldwide.

FMD (Fluorescent Multi-Layer Disc) was an optical disc format that used multiple fluorescent layers to achieve higher storage capacity than conventional DVDs. The technology relied on fluorescent materials rather than reflective layers like traditional optical media.
