The Kingdom of Vatsa was an ancient kingdom in India located in present-day Uttar Pradesh. Founded by King Vatsa, a son of King Bharata, with its capital at Kaushambi. Notably ruled by King Udayana, it was a contemporary of Magadha and an important center of Buddhism.
