In Fiedler's Contingency Model, task structure is one of the three situational variables. It refers to the degree to which job assignments are proceduralized, clearly defined, and structured, allowing the leader to exert influence more easily.

The essence of situational leadership is that effective leaders should tailor their style according to the situation. Using the situational leadership approach can build morale among employees and create a productive environment.

Accounting theory is not a theory of Leadership. Accounting theory can be defined as a set of assumptions, frameworks and methodologies whiich are basically used in the study and application of financial reporting principles. it provides an authoritative and thorough grounding in financial accounting.

The key situational factor that determine leadership effectiveness is leader-member relationship, task structure and position power. All these factors helps the leaders to improve their effectiveness. An effective leader must have the ability to size up a situation and make decisions based on what is the best thing to do.

The Situational Leadership Theory was developed by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard. Situational leadership can be referred  to a situation when the leader or manager of an organization must adjust his style to fit the development level of the followers he is trying to influence. In situational leadership theory, the style of the leader may change continually to meet the needs of others in the organization based on the situation.

Fixing the remuneration package of employees is typically a function of the human resources department or top-level board committees, rather than a direct leadership function. Leaders focus on guiding, motivating, and resolving conflicts among team members to achieve organizational goals. Therefore, while motivation, conflict resolution, and communication are core leadership functions, setting salary packages is an administrative or corporate governance task.

The vision of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is 'To be a global leader in promoting good corporate governance.' Its mission, on the other hand, is 'To develop high calibre professionals facilitating good corporate governance.' Therefore, the statement represents the vision of the institute.
