Gopala was the founder of the Pala dynasty, not Dharmapala. Dharmapala was a powerful ruler who expanded the empire, but he was the second king.

Cholas had their capital at Tanjavur (A-4). Hoysalas had their capital at Dwarasamudra (B-1). Pandyas had their capital at Madurai (C-2). Rashtrakutas had their capital at Malkhed (D-3).
