Karnam Malleswari is a retired Indian weightlifter. She was born on June 1, 1975, in Amudalavalasa, India. She is the first Indian woman in the history of Indian Olympic to win a medal.

Milkha Singh won a gold medal in the 440m competition at the Commonwealth Games with a time of 46.6 seconds in the year 1958. This achievement made him the first gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games from independent India.

However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenance artificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. It is used in sports like football, hockey, baseball, etc.
