• Veld  also spelled veldt, is a type of wide-open rural landscape in Southern Africa.

Puerto Miranda is an oil port situated on the east side of Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela opposite to the city of Maracaibo and is operated by the Venezuelan State Oil Company (PDVSA PETROLEO, S.A.) It is the largest crude oil export port in South America.

Water in atmosphere is recharged through hydrological cycle. In hydrological cycle, water is evaporated from the surface of the ocean. As moist air is lifted, it cools and clouds are formed by condensation of water vapors. These clouds transfer this water to ground through rains. Groundwater either seeps its way to into the oceans, rivers, and streams, or is released back into the atmosphere through transpiration. This cycle keeps repeating itself to keep balance of water.

It starts from the Harike Barrage at Harike, a few kilometers below the confluence of the Satluj and Beas rivers in the Indian state of Punjab and terminates in irrigation facilities in the Thar Desert in the north west of Rajasthan state.

The Ghaggar is an intermittent river in India, flowing during the monsoon season. It originates in the village of Dagshai in the Shivalik Hills of Himachal Pradesh at an elevation of 1,927 meters above mean sea level and flows through Punjab and Haryana states into Rajasthan.
