Tropical rainforests have four layers: Emergent Layer, Canopy Layer, Understory, Forest Floor.

Areas of plantation farming, for the most part, lie near the sea because of ocean transport.

Tsetse, sometimes spelled also known as tik-tik flies, are large biting flies that inhabit much of tropical Africa. The bite leads to transmission of sleeping sickness and nagana.
