Flower is the reproductive part of the plant. Pistil, stamens, petals and sepals are the four main parts of the flower. Among this, pistil is the female reproductive part and it is made up of stigma, style and ovary. Stamen is the male reproductive part and it consists of filament and anther. 

Lotus, (Nelumbo nucifera) is the national flower of India. The lotus flower symbolizes divinity, fertility, wealth, knowledge and enlightenment. It is also regarded as a symbol of triumph as it can survive to regerminate for thousands of years.
