'The Road Ahead' is a book written by Bill Gates and published in 1995. It discusses the future of technology, the information superhighway, and how personal computing would transform society. Gates writes about his vision for a connected world and the role of Microsoft in shaping that future.

Spain is a constitutional monarchy, with the King serving as head of state. The Prime Minister is head of government, but the King holds the formal head of state position and represents the unity of the country.

Adolf Hitler survived numerous assassination attempts between 1939 and 1944. Historical records document at least 17 known plots and attempts on his life, including the famous July 20, 1944 bomb plot by Claus von Stauffenberg, all of which failed.

The first Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in 1901 jointly to Henry Dunant (C), founder of the Red Cross, and Frederic Passy. Dunant is recognized for his humanitarian work. Barack Obama (2009), Martti Ahtisaari (2008), and Albert Arnold Gore (2007) are much later laureates.

Barack H. Obama was awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize 'for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.' The award was announced in October 2009, early in his presidency, and was somewhat controversial as he had not yet completed major peace initiatives.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States, serving from 1933 to 1945. He was not associated with Nickelodeon or Velcro.

Adolf Dassler was the German cobbler who founded Adidas, one of the world's largest sportswear companies. He is famous for creating the Adidas brand after a split with his brother who founded Puma.

Abraham Lincoln famously defined democracy as 'the government of the people, by the people and for the people' in his Gettysburg Address in 1863. Winston Churchill, Socrates, and John F. Kennedy were all influential figures but did not originate this quote.

The UK is a constitutional monarchy where the Monarch (currently King Charles III) serves as head of state, while the Prime Minister is head of government. The UK has no presidential system, and First Minister refers to leaders of devolved governments (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland).
