Hudson Bay, located in Canada, is the largest bay in the world by surface area, covering approximately 1.23 million square kilometers. The Bay of Bengal is the second largest. Halong Bay and Shark Bay are much smaller in comparison.

The Gulf of Mexico is the world's largest gulf, covering approximately 1.5 million square kilometers. It's significantly larger than the Persian Gulf (around 251,000 km²) and the other options. The Gulf of Mexico is an ocean basin largely surrounded by the North American continent and connected to the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.

Grand Central Terminal in New York is the world's largest railway station by number of platforms (44) and floor area. It is not the highest railway station in the world, nor the longest in terms of track length. The terminal's scale and architectural significance make it a landmark.

The Bay of Bengal is the largest bay in the world by area, covering approximately 2,172,000 square kilometers. It's significantly larger than Hudson Bay (around 1,230,000 km²) and Cardigan Bay (a much smaller bay in Wales). The Cape of Good Hope is a coastal promontory, not a bay.

Madagascar is the largest island in the Indian Ocean and the fourth-largest island in the world, covering approximately 587,041 square kilometers. While Sumatra is larger, it's located in the Indian Ocean but is considered part of Indonesia and its location places it closer to Southeast Asia. Sri Lanka and Maldives are significantly smaller.

China's Three Gorges Dam has the world's largest installed electrical generation capacity at 22,500 MW. Grand Coulee Dam in USA is second. Hoover Dam, while famous, has much smaller capacity. Hirakud Dam in India is large but not the largest for generation capacity.

Burj Khalifa in Dubai stands at 828 meters (2,717 feet) and has been the world's tallest building since its completion in 2010. It surpasses all other options significantly - the Petronas Towers are 452m, Sears Tower (Willis Tower) is 442m, and Shun Hing Square is 384m.

The Spring Temple Buddha in China stands 153 meters tall (including the pedestal) and was the world's tallest statue from 2002 until 2018. The Ushiku Daibutsu (120m) and Nanshan Haishang Guanyin (108m) are shorter. The Emperors Yan and Huang Statue is 106m.

The Nile River in Africa is traditionally considered the world's longest river at approximately 6,650 kilometers. While there's ongoing scientific debate about whether the Amazon might be longer, most standard sources and educational materials continue to recognize the Nile as the longest. The Amazon (~6,400km), Mississippi (~3,700km), and Congo (~4,700km) are all shorter.

The Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean is the deepest part of the world's oceans, reaching approximately 10,994 meters (36,070 feet) at its deepest point known as the Challenger Deep. It is significantly deeper than any other oceanic trench.

The Golden Gate Bridge spans the Golden Gate Strait, which connects the Pacific Ocean to the San Francisco Bay. It is definitely not on the Atlantic, Indian, or Antarctic Oceans.

The Pacific Ocean is the deepest ocean on Earth with an average depth of approximately 3,688 meters (12,090 feet). The Indian Ocean averages around 3,741 meters but has a smaller total area. The Atlantic Ocean averages about 3,646 meters. The Caribbean Sea is much shallower at around 2,200 meters depth and is classified as a sea, not an ocean.

The Caspian Sea is the largest inland body of water in the world by area, covering approximately 371,000 square kilometers. While technically a lake (enclosed body of water), it's called a sea due to its size and salinity. Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake by area (82,100 sq km), and Victoria is Africa's largest lake (69,485 sq km).
