Feroz Shah Kotla stadium is located in Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest cricket stadiums in India and has hosted numerous international matches including Test, ODI, and T20 games since 1883.

R. Premadasa Stadium is located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is the premier cricket venue in Sri Lanka and has hosted many international matches including World Cup games since 1986.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is located in Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), India. It is owned by the Karnataka State Cricket Association and serves as the home ground for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.

Punjab Cricket Association Stadium is located in Mohali, Punjab, India. It is also known as the Mohali Stadium and is one of the premier cricket venues in northern India, hosting international matches since 1993.

Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the hill country of central Sri Lanka and has hosted international matches since 2010, including games during the 2011 World Cup.

The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup final was indeed held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 2, 2011. India defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in this historic match, with captain MS Dhoni hitting the winning six. The stadium was renovated specifically for this tournament, making it a landmark venue in cricketing history.

The first semi-final of the 2011 ICC World Cup was held at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This match featured Pakistan vs India. Mohali and Motera are Indian venues that hosted other WC 2011 matches.

The second semi-final of the 2011 ICC World Cup was held at PCA Stadium in Mohali, India. This match featured Sri Lanka vs New Zealand. Premadasa hosted Semi-Final 1, while Motera hosted a quarter-final.

Motera (now Narendra Modi Stadium) in Ahmedabad was the only venue in India that hosted a World Cup 2011 quarter-final match (India vs Australia). The other quarter-finals were hosted by Dhaka, Colombo, and Mirpur.

Sachin Tendulkar made his ODI debut on December 18, 1989, in Gujranwala, Pakistan during the Wills Asia Cup (though some sources say it was a bilateral series). This was his first ODI match at age 16. Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi are other major Pakistani cricket venues but not where Tendulkar debuted.

The 1987 World Cup final was hosted at Eden Gardens, Calcutta (now Kolkata). Australia defeated England by 7 runs in a closely contested final to win their first World Cup. This was the first World Cup hosted outside England.

The 2003 ICC World Cup final was played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa on March 23, 2003. Australia defeated India by 125 runs in this match to win their third World Cup title. Cape Town, Durban, and Centurion did host other matches during the tournament, but the final was specifically at Johannesburg.
