The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne is widely recognized as the world's largest cricket stadium by seating capacity. The Sydney Cricket Ground is also historic but smaller than MCG.

Sachin Tendulkar scored his historic double century (200*) in ODI cricket against South Africa at Captain Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior on February 24, 2010. This was the first-ever double century in ODI history. Gwalior is in Madhya Pradesh, and option C has a spelling error ('Gawlior' instead of 'Gwalior').

The first match of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This opening group match featured host Bangladesh facing India on 19th February 2011.

The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup Final was held on 2nd April 2011 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in this final, with MS Dhoni hitting the winning six.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 186* against New Zealand in Hyderabad in 1999, which was his second-highest ODI score at that time. This innings was a masterclass in batting.

M. A. Chidambaram Stadium (formerly Chepauk Stadium) is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the oldest cricket stadiums in India, established in 1916, and is the home ground for the Tamil Nadu cricket team and IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.

Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium (now Arun Jaitley Stadium) is located in Delhi. It is the home ground for the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals and has hosted international matches since 1982. The stadium underwent renovation and was renamed in 2019 after the former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Eden Gardens is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, and is India's largest cricket stadium by seating capacity. It is often called the 'Lord's of the East' and is the home ground for the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. The stadium has hosted historic matches including the 1987 World Cup final.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is located in Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), Karnataka. It is the home ground for the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Karnataka cricket team. The stadium hosted matches in the 1987 and 1996 World Cups and is known for its batting-friendly pitches.

Brabourne Stadium is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, at the Cricket Club of India (CCI). It was established in 1937 and has hosted numerous international matches. Though less used now after Wankhede Stadium's construction, it remains a historic venue in Indian cricket.

Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium (also known as Jamtha Stadium) is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra. It is the home ground for the Vidarbha cricket team and has hosted international Test matches and ODIs since 2008. The stadium gained prominence during Vidarbha's Ranji Trophy victories.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is the home ground for the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals and hosted international matches from 1983 to the early 2000s. The stadium is named after Sawai Mansingh, a former Maharaja of Jaipur.

India played its first ever ODI (One Day International) match at Headingley, Leeds on June 13, 1974, against England. This was India's debut in the ODI format of cricket.
