Brock Lesnar won the 2003 Royal Rumble, last eliminating The Undertaker. This was Lesnar's first Royal Rumble victory during his rookie year. Shawn Michaels and Triple H were not the finalists.

Chris Benoit won the 2004 Royal Rumble, entering at #1 and lasting over 60 minutes to win. He last eliminated Big Show. This was Benoit's first Royal Rumble victory. Brock Lesnar did not win in 2004.

Batista won the 2005 Royal Rumble, last eliminating John Cena. This was Batista's first Royal Rumble victory. Both Batista and Cena eliminated each other simultaneously, but Batista was declared the winner.

Randy Orton won the 2009 Royal Rumble, last eliminating Triple H. This was Orton's first Royal Rumble victory. The match featured the Legacy faction dominance throughout.

Edge won the 2010 WWE Royal Rumble by last eliminating John Cena. This victory earned him a championship match at WrestleMania 26. Edge entered at #29 and won his third Royal Rumble match.

The Los Angeles Lakers won the 2009 NBA championship, defeating the Orlando Magic 4-1 in the NBA Finals. Kobe Bryant was named Finals MVP.

This is a widely circulated myth. Michael Jordan was actually placed on the junior varsity team as a freshman, not 'cut' as a sophomore. He made varsity the next year and went on to legendary success.

James Naismith invented basketball in 1891 while working at a YMCA training school. He also invented an early football helmet as part of his contributions to sports equipment and safety.

Dick Lane, also known as "Night Train Lane", was an NFL cornerback who played for the Los Angeles Rams and other teams in the 1950s-60s. He earned this nickname for his hard-hitting style of play. Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, and Barry Sanders are all legendary NFL players but were not called "Night Train".

Triple H has the most Hell in a Cell match victories. While The Undertaker is often associated with the match type's most iconic moments, Triple H holds the record for most wins. Mankind and Kane have participated in several Hell in a Cell matches but do not hold the victory record.

Mick Foley was the first Hardcore Champion and was given the retired belt in 2002 when Vince McMahon declared him the permanent holder of the title in an in-ring segment. Hardcore Holly, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy held the title but were not the first champion or the recipient of the retired belt.

Chris Jericho became the first Undisputed WWE Champion at WWF Vengeance 2001 by unifying the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and WWF Championship, defeating both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night. Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold, and The Rock were participants but did not win the unified title.

The Undertaker is the only full-time wrestler who appeared on the first episode of Monday Night Raw (January 11, 1993) and remains with the company as of April 2010. While Hogan and Flair were major stars from that era, neither was a full-time WWE performer in 2010. Mick Foley did not debut in WWF until later in the 1990s.

Brock Lesnar was the UFC Heavyweight Champion in April 2010, had previously been WWE Champion, and was married to Sable (Rena Mero/Lesnar) in real life. Ken Shamrock and Bobby Lashley also crossed over between WWE and MMA, but neither held the UFC Heavyweight Championship or was married to Sable. Goldberg was primarily a WCW/WWE wrestler.
