Ravi Shastri hit six sixes in an over while playing for Bombay against Baroda in a Ranji Trophy match in 1984-85. This equaled Gary Sobers' record of six sixes in an over in first-class cricket. Vengsarkar, Tendulkar, and Manjrekar were accomplished Indian batsmen but didn't achieve this feat.
