Thanatophobia is the irrational fear of death or dead things, also known as death anxiety. It can involve fear of one's own death or the death of loved ones, and is a natural human concern that becomes problematic when excessive.

Nosocomephobia is the abnormal and persistent fear of hospitals. People with this phobia may avoid medical care even when needed due to intense anxiety about hospital environments.

Glossophobia is the intense fear of public speaking or of trying to speak, considered one of the most common phobias. The term comes from the Greek 'glossa' meaning tongue or language.

Necrophobia is the specific term for fear of death or dead things (necro- meaning death or corpse). Acrophobia is fear of heights, arachnophobia is fear of spiders, and claustrophobia is fear of confined spaces.

Algophobia (from Greek 'algos' meaning pain) is the specific term for abnormal and persistent fear of pain. Agyrophobia is fear of streets, coulrophobia is fear of clowns, and odontophobia is fear of dentists or dental procedures.

Emetophobia (from Greek 'emesis' meaning vomiting) is the specific term for fear of vomiting. Decidophobia is fear of making decisions, keraunophobia and brontophobia both refer to fear of thunder and lightning.

Oikophobia (from Greek 'oikos' meaning house) is the fear of home surroundings, houses, or household appliances. Telephone phobia is fear of telephones, nomophobia is fear of being without a mobile phone, and phagophobia is fear of swallowing.

Cynophobia (from Greek 'kyon' meaning dog) is the fear of dogs. Hydrophobia is fear of water (historically associated with rabies), ichthyophobia is fear of fish, and equinophobia is fear of horses.

Workplace phobia refers to fear of the workplace environment. While this is a descriptive term rather than a classical Greek-derived phobia name, it correctly identifies the condition. Thanatophobia is fear of death, technophobia is fear of technology, and somniphobia is fear of sleep.
