Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra. Nagpur is Maharashtra's second capital as well as winter capital. By area, Maharashtra is the third largest state of India. It is the world's second most populous sub-national entity. It gives the most business opportunities and also gives a high standard of living. This feature attracts the migrants from all over India.It is the wealthiest and the most developed state in India.

MIDC stands for Maharastra Industrial Development Corporation. It is a project of government of Maharstra state. MIDC started on 1 Augjst 1962 with thane as its first industrial area. The headquaters is at Andheri, Mumbai.

Pimpri is a suburb of Pune. Pune is the metropolitian area of Maharashtra. It consists of twin towns of Pimpri and Chinchwad. It is loacted at the north west of the Pune city. Pimpri is an example of the unity in diversity of the country.
