Vocabulary and Synonyms

'Rampage' means to rush around in a violent, uncontrollable manner causing damage. 'Riot' (violent disturbance), 'go berserk' (become violently out of control), and 'run amok' (behave uncontrollably) are all synonyms of violent, frenzied behavior. 'Cruet' is a small bottle for oil or vinegar at table, completely unrelated to rampaging.

'Rangy' means tall, slender, and long-limbed (often describing animals or people). 'Slender,' 'lean,' and 'lank' all describe thin, lean physical builds. 'Slander' means to make false and damaging statements about someone - it's a verb related to defamation, not physical appearance.

'Random' means happening without a clear pattern, purpose, or order. 'Arbitrary,' 'haphazard,' and 'erratic' all describe things lacking order, pattern, or predictability. 'Arbiter' is a person or agency that judges or settles disputes, which is a noun referring to a judge - not an adjective describing randomness.

'Rainy' describes weather characterized by rain. 'Drizzle' (light rain), 'inclement' (unpleasant weather, typically cold/wet), and 'damp' (slightly wet) all describe wet or rainy conditions. 'Grizzly' refers to a type of bear or grayish color, which is unrelated to weather or rain.

Ramification means a consequence or complication, typically one that is complex or unwelcome. Result, aftermath, and implication are all synonyms - they refer to outcomes or consequences. Gratification means pleasure or satisfaction, which is completely unrelated to the concept of ramification.

Rampant means something that is flourishing or spreading unchecked. Uncontrolled and unbridled are direct synonyms. Vehement means showing strong feeling or intensity, which can be related. Vengeance means revenge or retribution, which has no connection to the meaning of rampant.

 'To turn into' means to move to or change into something; 'turn someone on' means to attack or oppose. 'Turn up' means to arrive or appear.

 'Step up' means to make something larger, faster or more effective.

'Consider' means to think carefully about; especially in order to make a decision. 'Think over something' also means the same.

 'Settle down' means to become established.

 'Show off' means to flaunt.

' To see reason' means to understand the reason behind something.

'Put off' means to delay or postpone; 'put out' means to establish and  'put up' means to build. 

 'Set off' means to leave for something or someplace.
