As of 2019, Pakistan has never defeated India in an ODI World Cup match. The two teams have faced each other multiple times (1992, 1999, 2003, 2011, 2015, 2019) and India has won every encounter. Australia defeated India in 2003 final, Sri Lanka in 1996 semifinal, and Bangladesh in the 2019 World Cup league stage.
